GiGi and Whitney cook up Lorna Jane inspired meals for Fit & Funny Foodies!

This past HUMP DAY, Whitney (my partner in defeating unhealthy cooking crimes) and I took on a new, rather tasty, venture… A venture that Bobby Flay (and Giada, of course) would be quite proud of.

The Fit & Funny Foodies hosted their FIRST EVER LIVE COOK-A-LONG!

  1. I missed the live event as I was stuck at work. So glad I get to see the broadcast.
My fave cooking appliance, my vitamix.

My fave kitchen gadget…either my cheap avocado slicer and pit removal or my squirt bottle (like a mustard/ketchup bottle) that I use for my olive oil. absolutely fantastic piece in my kitch. ;)

    • Not to worry! It’s still “sort of” live… Ha Ha, because we couldn’t do any re-takes, and no editing AT ALL! ;) Got to love technology!

Thank you for your continued support :D xoxo

  4. I was sorry to miss this love (stupid grumble grumble stuff I had to do) but I am playing your broadcast tonight. And..I’m so hungry it hurts.
I will be watching the Super Bowl COMMERCIALS, but my eyes glaze over at the sport itself. And my worst kitchen disaster was when I surprised my husband with sweet potato fries. I followed the recipe to a “T”, except that I used baked sweet potatoes instead of raw.
So he was surprised all right, by the burnt, limp “fries” I prepared for him.
Tamara recently posted..Do I Even Need An Introduction? My Profile

    • Oh no! our video MIGHT make you hungry ;) You will need some ground chicken and zucchinis if you want to cook along, lol! I just ate the left overs for lunch today and they were amazing, so if you do make this, I highly recommend you make enough for leftovers!

Well, looks like you know what you’re NOT going to make this Superbowl… Ahem, burnt “fries” – ;)

  5. That’s really awesome! Congrats on the live cook-a-long! Will have to tune in the next time. And those sliders look amazing.

  6. I have no idea how to do Google hangouts! ;) No surprise,r right. :) So excited for you!!!! No Superbowl watching here.. will record it & watch the commercials later.. :)

There are a few celebrities I would like to spirilize, that sounds funny. How about a surf & turf meal ? I will never miss show and I remember trying to slow cook a chicken once it was in for about 12 hours kinda dry.
