I was asked by a prospective patient to make his lips smaller! I told him to find a man whose lips looked like what he wanted and have his girlfriend kiss them to see if they were the lips she liked! He changed his mind about the surgery :-)

I don’t drink smoothies very often, but two of my friends work in a smoothie bar, so I see plenty of them, lol!

Strawberries easily! In spite of its popularity, orange juice is an unhealthy sugar load.

Hmm, along time ago I would have said oranges for their vitamin c. But maybe strawberries have a lower GI. So strawberries! Either way, I don’t tend to eat much fruit these days. :)

  13. I haven’t tried Vega yet but I’m curious about your opinion, GiGi – do you think it’s a MUST HAVE for smoothies? I put fruit, yogurt, walnut, berries, banana, goji berries, hemp seed, flax seed, and fish oil in mine. It does wonders for my skin and energy. Does an added protein really make that much of a difference? Just curious.
I’d rather eat Ryan Gosling, strawberries and turkey at Thanksgiving, lol. Our Thanksgiving comes before yours. :p
Robyn @ simply fresh dinners recently posted..Tuesday’s TidbitsMy Profile

    • Personally, I think adding a little protein to a smoothie is a smart approach because it rounds out the drink to a compete and balanced meal. Yes, you have some yogurt, but I think the protein powder adds a little something extra. I do love all your additions though, so healthy :) By adding a little extra protein, it might keep you fuller longer.

GRRRR – Thanksgiving! I am envious. Maybe I will just celebrate Thanksgiving in October and November, ha ha!

  19. Strawberry’s for the win TKO. How about a kiwi or papaya in the mix ? I would take the stevia out and add it to my iced green tea. I’m going to switch over to this brand of protein powder, the whey products are getting heavy and they taste horrible to boot. I like the soft shell coconut’s there a bit of a project to open but really tasty and lot’s of milk. I’m not sure if my celebrity dish would need a dry rub or overnight marinate before hitting the grill :)

    • Ah ha ha! I guess it really just depends which celebrity dish you’re in the mood for! I tend to like overnight marinades ;)

And yes, do ditch the whey protein. It’s not the best in my opinion, I highly favor vegan/plant-based protein powders!
