Currently pumping chicken eggs out my nipple! I got some nasty but cool photos of clogs, slime blobs, red boob… fun stuff. Not.

This is my third time with it. Last time I spent a night in the hospital.

I’m intrigued by that “egg”-like substance though. I’d never imagined something like that to be a result of breast inflammation!

OhMyGoodness, well, we already chatted before about the whole mastitis thing and how much it sucks and I’m just so glad you’re finally getting past it, although it also sucks that now your production is all messed up from it all! I love that you put out the video and stressed that it’s just about feeding your baby and what works for you! Even though I lasted 3 years with Gv (don’t ask me how I survived it all for that long!), I never thought it was some wonderful thing and was more than happy to be done with it all (…would have been more than happy to be done with it at least a year earlier than that, too!) I can remember going to La Leche meetings (because I was looking for help wherever I could get it!) and just rolling my eyes out of my head (on the inside) because we’d have to go around and gush about our breastfeeding experience and whenever they got to me, I was like, “yeah, it does nothing for me, but I figure it’s good for my kid, and it’s handy, and so, whatever.) They were appalled, but I didn’t care. People need to just do whatever’s best for them and not get all riled up about forcing their “thing” onto someone else! Anyway, I could go on…but I won’t. OH! And thanks so much, BTW, for getting “River of Dreams” stuck in my head! I was actually cracking up over it…until it looped back around in my brain for the 4,328th time!

Love how fun you wrote this whole thing. Oh boy, that very first time was the worst. My titties were bruised and swollen; the pain was just excruciating! It totally traumatized, in fact, I breastfed my second child for just a month because I was so scared.

Nursing is so hard and frustrating at time, isn’t it! I’m just grateful that I’ve been able to do it with my girls! Makes for a cheaper first year! haha!

Hi I think I would have been engorged if I hadn’t pumped.. it was a case though that I had to pump as they needed pumping… ohhh so glamourous! Have to say as well my electronic medula swing was rubbish.. my Avent manual pump was fantastic!
