This was such a phenomenal and raw post. Really, you have to be selective with the brands you collaborate with. There were some I genuinely regret because they weren’t very fitting with my brand or seemed to value the work I did. To be fair, there were plenty that I probably was unprofessional with and I regret my mistakes. However, working with companies on social media isn’t going to be my primary source of income so I don’t really have any plans on becoming a full-time “influencer” or “social media star” and what not. LOL!

No Kelly NEVER communicated to anyone in FF what was going on. My sense is she has so many bloggers upset over not getting paid (Find Your Influence said there are MANY campaigns she never paid for) that she doesn’t want to attract more attention by sharing with everyone that she’s shutting down the business.
