Yes, we did. But it was crazy. On our way, all within 5 minutes time I got a test from my husband that everyone is getting laid off and a text from the kids that school is canceled. Just crazy. We were in Gatlinburg TN and hiked the Great Smoky mountains all weekend. It was very busy, as if nothing was going on…and then…a week later. Great Smokey Mountain National Park is closed and Gatlinburg is a ghost town. I’m really grateful that I got to go, it was a lot of fun hanging out with a couple of friends I don’t get to see that often.

I’m still not overly worried as long as people take the measures they need to to work through this together. I already worked from home and am currently homeschooling my kids so this isn’t a huge difference for me. The biggest issue is we miss our friends and outside activities. But we are keeping in touch with them. I also generally keep a well stocked house, so when I got blindsided by the ransacking of the stores, it didn’t affect us much either and we have been able to help others in need. I guess what is bothering me the most is how long we are going to have to do this for and I have a lot of friends out of work which is hard to watch.

HAHAHHA – yeahhh it def could have been because you were SUPER hungry but that is one GREAT break the fast meal!

OMG I WAS ON THE SAME BOAT David! I was too scared to make it at home too because it was just so intimidating! Doing it with someone else definitely eases that fear though so make it with your daughter!!

I hope you stocked up on some of the ingredients (if not all) to make this recipe!! It’s a great BULK meal and tastes even better as left overs!

Ah ha ha ha! It definitely takes a little effort to make, but man oh man, it’s worth it!! 🙂
