I have to check my notes on what it was called. But it was a pork dish. She told me that pork intestines make for a very popular dish, but I don’t think my intestines were ready for it.

People tend to compare durian to sewage sometimes, so most people aren’t too thrilled about trying it. My family tends to shun me when I eat it, so I actually haven’t had it in ages. (I guess if you don’t end up liking it, it can also double as a pretty formidable weapon? :D? )

I’m not allergic, but it’s technically against my religion, so I’ve never knowingly had it. I need to get on that BBQ Chicken Bun experimentation though (once I have a kitchen again…)! :]

Ah, me too! <3 I miss the food so much! :D! I heard things are getting super expensive there though, so that's somewhat of a huge bummer. ;_;

Durian, yes I have heard of it!! But I have never tried it before.

Are you allergic to pork? I don’t eat pork because GAHHH YUCK – LOL! And the second you make BBQ Chicken Buns… Oh man, your life will be complete lol!

I'm glad you got to try so many delicious foods! Durian mighttt be one of the "strangest" fruits I've ever had (everyone else seems to hate it :[ ).

Yay for karaoke, and those koala-shaped cookies are the best! 😛 I can't eat pork, but those pork buns have always smelled absolutely delicious to me. I'd love to figure out how to do a BBQ chicken version someday! :]

I'm mildly biased, but I'd suggest Hong Kong! :]
