It didn’t necessarily save money doing it, but I knew that it supported local fisherman (well, 100 miles away) was fresh and line-caught. It probably averaged the cost int he store. There were scallops (my favorite), lobster, cod, monk fish, dog fish, sword fish, grey sole, skate fish, and others— oh and tuna steak. It really depended each week on what was in the ocean at the time. It was fun and adventurous!

Seriously! There was one point, after I think the 3rd surgery where she actually looked really good… Then she just got a little KNIFE happy! I think she had Spencer do the rest for her in the kitchen – EW, I just grossed myself out! LOL!
