I’m 54 and an almost new dad. I still don’t feel like an adult, I thought the adult instinct would kick in when I was 40, it didn’t. Being a parent is tougher because sometimes I wish there was an adult more adult than me nearby.

HAHAHAHAHHA YOU AND ME BOTH Nadalie!! The other day my husband and I had to “adult” by picking out bathroom accessories (toilets and bathtubs, etc) and I found myself hanging out in the tub under the disco ball! LOL!

Haha, yeah I tell her that pretty often (as do lots of my friends lol!). And when one of my best friends got married when I was pregnant with Kimmie, my mama MADE me a dress for the wedding because, yeah, not fun trying to fit into anything else lol…Good luck with the alterations!

TOTALLY! I do love being independent of my parents telling me what to do all the time. I love their advice when I ask for it… But I also want to not deal with anything government related or any nonsense like that – ha!
