Jennifer Aniston: The Secret To Her Body… And Mind?

If you don’t think Jennifer Aniston has a SLAMMIN’ bod, then you can just stop reading right now.

While it’s definitely up for debate as to whether or not the actress is… actually good at acting, there is absolutely no debate about her killer 40-something figure.


As you know from watching the FIRST episode of GiGi Eats Celebrities (click to watch), Jen has been on multiple diets, including the infamous baby food diet, where she had to suck down “14 mini cups of food… Followed by an ‘adult dinner'”…

Well it seems as though Jen had one too many tantrums in her “high chair” because she no longer sucks down watered down butternut squash puree. Instead my girl crush eats healthy foods including salads, fruits, high quality protein sources and healthy fats… Hmm, seems like she’s been reading “The Way To A Taut Tush!”

On top of munching on greens like a sleekly built horse, Jen poses up a storm with yoga instructor Mandy Ingber.

Well you better believe I dropped EVERYTHING (whoops, it was a huge mess to clean up all those eggs… And I still have ketchup stains on my floor) when I was given the opportunity, thanks Sharareh, to manuveur myself into a human pretzel with Jen’s magic body bullet!

Do I look a little nervous?

Mandy and I yogi-ed away for a segment that aired on E! News showcasing a bunch of different poses that not only builds strength and tones your muscles but that can also help you calm your nerves during the hectic holidays.

Jen practices these moves and then some, roughly 5-6 times a week. No wonder why she always looks so well put together, even when tabloids are claiming she’s “still depressed over Brad…”, “pregnant with sextuplets… And who knows who the father is”, “dating Justin Bieber” or “creating a duet album with PSY”.

 Improves posture, stimulates internal organs, and energizes your body by allowing my oxygen into your lungs. So after you do this, you can go outside and shovel snow with out gasping for air!

The liver, kidneys, stomach, pancreas and spleen are all believed to benefit from twisting poses in yoga and this pose can help reduce abdominal bloating and digestive discomfort, perhaps from all of that Egg Nog?

This pose is meant to boost immunity so you’re not stuck in bed while the rest of the family is opening gifts this holiday season. This move also improves digestion so you’re not… well you know…

If you’re looking for a bit of a heart revver then the crescent lunge pose is a good one for you too. This pose “speeds up your metabolism” while stretching your hip flexers and strengthening your legs. The perfect exercise for all of you who want to boogie on down until the wee hours of the night (or is it morning) on New Years Eve!

We managed to do a few other poses as well, including the plank cross pose, which targets your abs and obliques while also improves your balance and… Well, makes you feel like you’re going to risk concussion and dive head first into the floor (unless of course you are seasoned yoga pro).


A majority of the yoga poses that can help you de-stress during this time of year won’t have you rushing to the ER though, so why not take a page (or a HUGE CHAPTER) from Jennifer Aniston’s book, (or wait, you can buy Mandy Ingber’s yoga DVDs too) and do a little child’s pose before your in-laws ring the door bell.

    • Ha Ha! Thank you! My friend took pictures of her TV when she saw the segment, LOL!!! I didn’t have a TV at the time, but now I have one. When I get a DVD of the segment I will certainly post it! :)

  3. How cool GiGi !!! you look great :) as for Jennifer no doubt she is fit for 40. I do “Warrior Yoga” same concept, guess it’s a guy thing. It is great though for me after a heavy workout, I feel good the next day. Can’t wait to see your show someday. If you ever looked at my channel it’s obvious who my favorite actress is :)’

    • AHHH HA HA HA! You know, if all the tabloids were actually RIGHT, Jen would probably have 18 babies by now, LOL! If she did then HOLY MOLY we would totally be praising her for her stomach and booty!!

      I am so glad to hear you won’t do a baby food diet, yeah that stuff in RANK! I remember I was stuck in the car, no food except pureed chicken and I though… maybe, maybe… OH HELL NO! I’d rather starve to death! No wonder why babies get so mad at meal time!
