I’m sure those thoughts are typically what circulate through your brain when you read any of my blog posts… So just to clarify…

I’m NOT actually hopping on an airplane this weekend to jet over to Africa to sign the documents to legalize my adoption of a baby giraffe…

No… What I REALLY mean is…

THIS GIRL (I am currently pointing at myself) IS TYING THE KNOT. GETTING HITCHED. TAKING THE PLUNGE. 

GETTING MARRIED!

Trust me… NO ONE ever thought (including myself) that I would ever get married. Everyone I know (my family included) believed I was going to start a “Spinsters For Lyfe” (yes, with a “Y”) club.

Also… No one really knew I was “dating” anyone prior to accepting to wear the stunning BLING (my fiance designed special for me) on my ring finger (oh and agreeing to spend the rest of my life with him, THAT TOO!).

I remember, when I got engaged… And the world of Facebook/Twitter/Instagram found out…

Well… I ain’t yanking anyone’s chain right now. 

This is the real deal. And it’s happening… November 12th…

Yep. I ACTUALLY found someone I love more than SALMON SKIN!
