How about we dive into some story time… Yes?
No. I am not about to read you a picture book cover to cover… I know you were all about to sit in a circle on the floor.
I am not about to read you a 600-page epic novel, either… This ain’t your high school English class.
Who the heck reads books these days anyways?
Oh. Wait. People actually still do (not just cats?).
Er. Um. Yeahhhhh! SO DO I?*
*Okay, I have to admit… I don’t even remember the last time I ever cracked open an actual book. The thought of actually sitting in one place for longer than 5 minutes… Sounds crazier than wanting to host a tea party for a hippo dressed in a purple romper and a penguin wearing a top hat.
So really, when I say story, I am referring to another type of story. I am sure you’re all now thinking the same thing.
Hey, no. Quit trying to light a bonfire in preparation for my telling you a scary story about an ORANGE-nosed clown…
Was going to post a picture of a clown, but they creep me out WAY TOO MUCH… Gah!
Ah shit. Maybe you’re still not on the same page (har har) as me.
I AM TALKING ABOUT INSTA-STORIES people.
INSTA. STORIES. INSTAGRAM STORIES*.
Now those… I read. In fact, I “write” a lot of them too. Some might think my genre to be a bizarre fairytale… While others think it’s a sappy romance between a girl and her salmon… And then there are the few that think it to be a supernatural thriller with a splash of erotica.
Don’t ask ME why people think this… You’re just going to have to draw your own conclusions when you “read”.
That being said… The vegan protein powder brand, Nuzest, actually believes my story genre to be that of a farce slice of life… Emphasis on the word “slice”… Because I tend to always be eating a slice of something (GiGi-Approved) and expressing my INTENSE LUST for it… Without a care in the world.
Because of my passionate veneration for food… Which includes Nuzest Protein Powders… The Clean Lean (vegan, sugar-free, non-GMO) company tapped me to “read everyone a story for them” on Los Angeles-based grocery store, Erewhon Market’s Instagram feed.
And “read” did I ever… In fact… Let’s call this day-long story an interpretive recount of two recipes I created with Nuzest, that are just so dang good… I’d call them “repeat offenders” but they did not offend my palette, that’s for sure.
You know you want to learn all about the two protagonists… Right?

PS: This was downloaded from Instagram (because you can do that)… So my apologies for the “low quality” and the “weird lighting” at times…

Take THIS RECIPE… And press it into a waffle maker.
Take THIS RECIPE and instead of making cookies, put the batter in mini (single serving) ramekins.
