What’s one thing you do every day? Tell me in the comments below…
Me? (Cause I know you’re curious) I eat SALMON.
EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. OF. MY. LIFE.
It’s just how I roll…
Speaking of rolling…
One way that I indulge in my salmon ADDICTION (seriously though, some may think I need to go to rehab because I eat 7 – 8 pounds of the fish a week) is by eating it ROLLED UP… Sushi style. However, prior to filming the latest GiGi Eats video… I had NEVER made my favorite cuisine myself.
WHY THE FORK NOT, you may now be wondering?!
Welp. Making sushi has always intimidated the FORK outta me… Because…
- It’s always served up so PERFECTLY at sushi restaurants
- I cannot eat rice and the thought of making cauliflower rice seemed like too much work
- (to piggyback off of the last point) I can be rather lazy when it comes to making food and it’s way easier to just order take out
However… I FINALLY decided to grab my SHARP AS FORK sushi knife (I actually do have one!) and CURE said INTIMIDATION by “MAKI”-ING SUSHI MY SOYMATE.
Okay. TERRIBLE pun, I know, but what I am trying to say…
JUST FORKING DO IT.
So that’s what I did… With the help of FRESH, NEVER FROZEN MOWI salmon… Which is available via Amazon Fresh!
Perhaps if you check out how I did in my most recent video… It will SPURN YOU ON to tackle your own intimidations!
Here’s WHAT You Need To Get Rolling…
- 6 Ounces Cauliflower Rice
- 1 Tsp Sesame Seeds
- 1/4 Tsp Sesame Oil
- 1 Tbs Plain Mayonaise
- 1/4 Avocado
- 4 Ounce Mowi Salmon Saku Fillet
- Skin of Mowi Salmon Fillet
- Sesame Seeds, as garnish
For How to Maki-t… You’ve gotta watch the video!
SO TELL ME…
- Sushi. Do you love it or hate it?
- If you’re a fan of sushi, what’s for favorite type of roll?
- Have you ever made sushi yourself?
- What’s your favorite thing to order at a Japanese restaurant (sushi or not)?
- Have you ever order fresh fish online? How’d that experience go?
