Here’s the deal…

I have pregnancy brain.

Yep, I can FINALLY admit it.

I remember when someone claimed I was suffering from pregnancy brain around week 20 of my being pregnant and I got so INSANELY offended… I wanted to punch her square in the jaw!

To be fair, I almost burnt down the house three times over the course of TWO DAYS because I kept leaving the burner on… So perhaps, her saying I had pregnancy brain wasn’t exactly a stretch.

Except NOW… And during the whole last month of pregnancy… This brain of mine has been a big pile of garbled mush.

You’d think my thoughts would be full of: “I wonder what life is going to be like with the newest addition” or “I am so excited to snuggle with my little dude” or “I JUST CAN’T WAIT TO BE A MOM!”…

But really my brain is thinking:

“Sweet potatoes are orange… Orange is not really my favorite color… Green, oh I love green… I love my car… It’s just so pretty… I can’t get over how pretty our Christmas lights are on our tree… We have a real tree this year… It eats sugar…

Sugar isn’t healthy… It would be pretty funny if one day a whole slew of studies were released stating that sugar is actually the fountain of youth… Oh gosh, bitches in Los Angeles have terrible surgeons… Don’t get too close to them, they look like weird works of “art”…

I feel like drawing a picture… Who am I kidding, I can’t draw… I wonder what one of those painting and drinking parties is like… Drunk people… Ugh… They can be insanely obnoxious…

Karate is cool… The last time I got drunk, oh man, back in February maybe? February, a month I wasn’t pregnant and had no clue I was going to be getting pregnant this year… Dumb doctors telling me I couldn’t get pregnant… I should send them Christmas cards… Better yet, I should leave piles of dog shit lit on fire on their doorsteps… I wonder if any polar bears are giving birth RIGHT NOW. Bananas.”

Here’s to hoping you stepped out of my brain ALIVE. As you can see, it’s pretty obvious that… Making a YouTube video for this post, yeah, not going to happen because, well, I am obviously distracted and I don’t want to risk breaking our BRAND NEW video camera.

At least this brain of mine still has me thinking somewhat logically!

So instead of filming, editing and uploading a video (which I may ACTUALLY attempt to do later this week, so maybe I am not so logical after all?)… I thought I would step into my time machine and revisit some of my favorite blog posts, youtube videos and products from this past year.
